Sleep Country

We were way overdue for a new bed.  When we got married T insisted that we use his bed (which he inherited from a roommate- that was given it from his parents) because it was bigger than mine.  Not only had this bed had more owners than I would prefer... it spent time hanging out in a grimy garage for several months.  I think I was allergic to the mattress.  There was a permanent indent on T's side. The sheets on his side wouldn't stay on. Tieba's back was killing him. I could, but won't, go on.

So one random morning Tieba decided that we were going to buy a new bed. Kelly offered to watch Ez, and off we went to Sleep Country USA.  We tried out nearly every bed in the store.  They all felt good to me, it was the pillow that I knew I needed to have.  We settled on a mattress, left satisfied, and anxious for our delivery.
Or at least I thought we were satisfied.  The next weekend, T went back and exchanged our box spring for an adjustable base.  I was originally quite annoyed because of the increased cost and how incredibly unnecessary it was. I quickly got over it and began enjoying our 30 minute massage and inclined feet and back for hulu watching and ibook reading.
Unfortunately, we didn't consider our neighbors in this new purchase... One evening while watching Scandal we heard a bunch of banging.  After a while, we realized that our downstairs neighbor was crashing into her ceiling with a broom.  It then dawned on me that the vibrating bed had to have sounded like a full blown earthquake for her.  I was mortified.
The next afternoon when she got home from work I knocked on her door and apologized.  Apparently pictures were falling off of her walls and her ceiling was shaking.  DUH.  I felt horrible.  She accepted my apology. And we have another reason that we are ready to move into a house!
