Staycation

For the last weekend in August we enjoyed the first annual Lee/Bropleh/Buehler Family Staycation.  The festivities started with an afternoon swim session at McCallum Park.  Because it wasn't a very nice day, we had the pool all to our self (minus one family that stayed in a corner of the pool the whole time)! 

After swimming, the babes took a nap and then we went to the Buehler's for an early dinner.

The boys played Bocce Ball and then we headed out for a scenic walk.  

In true staycation form, we spent the night at the Buehler's.  Kel, Levi, and I slept in her bed, Ben and T slept in the living room, and Ez slept in Levi's room.  Monsieur Troy probably got the best sleep in his crib.  We all went to church together the next day.  It was fun to have a pretend vacation!  Next year we will plan it out better, require that everyone spend the night, and keep our fingers crossed that the weather cooperates for tent sleeping.
