Rolly Polly

When Ezra was almost 3 months old he rolled over! I could barely believe my eyes.  I thought it was certainly a fluke, until he rolled over again and again for the next day or two.  After the day or two, he stopped rolling.  I wasn't worried about it because I knew he would eventually roll again and I honestly feel in no rush for him to be mobile!
......

Last week while Kelly took Levi to his music class, I was on twin duty with Ezzy and Troy.  While I was putting Troy to sleep (a few feet away), Ezzy hung out on his mat grunting, groaning, drooling, and ROLLING!  I could hardly believe my eyes when I turned around and he was about two feet away from where I left him!

I think the combination of a little bit of independence and looking at himself in the reflection of the glass got my rolly polly rolling! He is officially on the move and can no longer be trusted anywhere other than the ground.

... I made sure he didn't hit his head on the tile!

  1. Ben and I predict early moving. And if he runs away like Levi does, meg will need to start training MMA to catch, contain, and bring him somewhere! I love being Ezra's aunt!
